So as to an update on the Gerbal issue I am having at one of the house's I work at... the mother has to be stupid or something here. A few weeks ago she was complaining that she can't keep her house clean... but did not connect the gerbal to the mess. Two weeks ago the kid was complaining to me that his gerbal chewed threw his favorite blanket and he was mad at it. The mother then told me that she wanted to catch it and throw it outside but the kid wouldn't let her... now here is a thought... since the father shares custody half of the week chuck the stupid critter out when the kid is over there and tell him you haven't seen it when asked. Today she told me that the gerbal chewed threw one of the wires to a new game thing the kid got for christmas... it won't work anymore and it has only been three days... her exact words were "I gotta do something about the gerbal because he is starting to chew things" You think? Haha. Now call me crazy but she should have put it back in the cage when the kid and I caught it back in November!! Stupid people.
On other topics... not much has been happening since christmas. Working alot mainly but that is nothing new. Two 12hour days back to back is way too much for me to handle but luckily I have tomorrow off to rest and catch up on sleep. I'm not looking forward to wednesday because then I need to start waking up again to get the girls in Remsen ready for school... but only for three days, then that stupid internship begins. It's way to close from this side of christmas.... sigh. I also have been playing the Sims2 Seasons since now is my time to catch up on my video games... this one is fun. The seasons now change and you have to rake leaves and so on. So I had this one family and the guy was raking up the leaves in the yard and I noticed that one of the options was to Burn them... So I burned one of the piles and all went good. I ignored the weatherman's forcast about Catching his grandma on fire while burning leaves and the next day the guy raked up at least 5 piles and set them all ablaze... well he caught fire as well and was too panicy to put himself out. I... the controller of all of this... was enjoying snapping pictures to show George when he got home when I finally realized he isn't going to extinguish himself. The guys wife was upstairs and by the time I got her to stop what she was doing and run downstairs the grim reaper was there... At least I have a cool picture of that as well... Haha.
What's the best book you read this year?
The best and the worst Book I read this year was Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows. Bet you couldn't have guessed that one? It was an amazing book and an awesome end to the Harry Potter Series... but that is what makes it the worst... it is the end to the Harry Potter series. It was so addicting as well... every Harry Potter book has a point in it where it hooks you... I like to call it the point of no return. No matter how many times you read the book you get to that point and you can't put it down until you finish it. Normally this spot does not occur until the last 100 or sometimes 200 pages... Nope this occured not even half way through the book on my lunch break at staples. While this shows a good book it made me late back to work and caused me to stay up all night reading it and going to work the next day on 2 hours of sleep. It wasn't just me though because a few days later DiNitto came in looking really tired and I asked "Harry Potter" and he replied "Uh Huh". So all in all it was one amazing book... I do need to read it again though because the end was alittle hazy... but it was 3am. I'm sure I would have been hooked from the beginning had I been able to stay off the internet and now have it spoiled for me >:( I'm sure that it will be the best book I read in 08 as well...
So this was my first christmas as Mrs. Smith and I have to say it went pretty well... alot better then it has in the past because everything was much more spread out then normal. It felt good not to be getting the guilt trip from George's mom about not staying there for a large part of the day because we had three other places to visit. Although I suppose the hints about attending church on christmas eve won't stop... oh well. Anyways instead of being all jammed into two days this year christmas lasted for three!
Saturday was christmas at my Aunt's house out in Lee Center which is normally the one on christmas that screws me all up. Now this party can go either way on the fun scale and this year it was actually a blast... but I feel that I have more in common with my cousins now that I actually see them more then just christmas which helps me feel more included. Plus they are all getting older and alot nicer I suppose on including everyone. This year we at first enjoyed some small talk which consisted of watching my cousin's wife dress her dog up as a reindeer. Rather amusing, but it led us into a discussion on how if she every had any boys they would turn out gay from all of the dress-up. We quickly stopped that sterotype because one of my cousin's was actually dressed up as a girl when he was 4 and there is pictures to prove it... we even asked him in front of his girlfriend which was probably kind of mean but explain that to Scott. Anyways, then my cousin's wife found out that her husband actually willingly dressed up at a much older age just to play Mall Madness. It was a really funny conversation... not to mention watching Scott serve thousands of Pickles to everyone. After the snacking we then relocated into the living room for some Rockband playing which was rather fun but after attempting it a few times I preferred to watch and laugh. I'm not very good at those types of games. It was more fun watching Scott snipe people with the marshmellow thrower... That was fun.
Christmas Eve involved two parties but niether one was rushed so I was still experiancing a very relaxing christmas compared to normal. After I got out of work I arrived at my parents house for our christmas and apparently new tradition. There we opened presents and my mom even got me back for those years of duck taping her Easy Button's into their boxes. She superly taped and wrapped box inside of box and when I was done I recieved a piece of paper. My dad suffered as well because he told me where the duck tape was but he got a gift card to Charlies... perhaps he is going to find a different dinner partner for that evening out. The theme of the afternoon was "It sucks... Merry Christmas" a rather funny line from my brother when my mom was wondering if something was any good. Then my dad unwrapped a video game and my brother says that he heard it wasn't any good.... Merry Christmas! Quite funny. After presents we played some Wii because my Dad recieve one for christmas. My arm still hurts today but My brother and I won a game of tennis because we kept distracting my Dad and George. The best was my serve facing them... not the TV.
That night we headed over to my Grandma's house... the only tradition to remain the same. We were told that their wouldn't be any food their but of course there was... Luckily she didn't worry about us eating this year because I was too full to pretend to be hungry. Then we played the traditional game of Pitch... there really should be two games going on now because too many people know how to play and I feel sorry that a few of the younger cousin's who could play don't get too. Maybe next year. However, it started out very good this year... the Girls (and Daniel) actually won two games but then the Boys realized they were using the wrong pad and they convinced Daniel to throw the game (well that is his story but he could of been covering up for his inability to really play Pitch haha) and we lost the remaining three... even after we traded Daniel for a real girl. This year however I gave george a card shuffler because every year he needs me to shuffle because he can't. Everyone always laughs at this so I gave him the shuffler before we started playing and it was a hit. But everyone was still laughing at him. Once 9:00 hit however we had to leave because it was passed my Grandpa's bedtime.
George and I came home and did what little presents we had for each other. The main ones are not happening yet... he got me a car starter... well is getting me one tomorrow... and I got him a ticket and trip to a New Jersey Devils game... really I wanted to go to NJ with Jules my bestest bestest friend. So it works out both ways really... and he is bringing Kevin since he needs someone too talk too haha. Zeus seemed to enjoy his presents... we got him Catnip which he played with last night for quite sometime but I think he woke up this morning with a hangover because he was moving rather slow and he doesn't seem to want to play with it tonight... oh well.
Today was christmas at the Smiths. We got over there around nine to open presents which was kind of chaotic but I prefer my parents way of doing the presents... might be better for the kids. But they are only 1 and 2 so they didn't really understand what was happening. I got my game I wanted... Apples to Apples... awesome. I had to wait for my nephew Nathan to take a nap before gathering people to play but he eventually did and we had a blast. I love that game! We probably played for like 2hours because otherwise there really wasn't a whole lot too do. We then ate dinner...well lunch because it was noon and then things died down for a bit until Emily left with my nephew to go to another party. Then Pete, my father-in-law, got out his remote control Jeep he got for christmas and decided to go play outside with it since it was quite large. That led into Me, George and Kevin getting out the Jeep and 4-wheeler to play in the snow and ice. The ice was perfect for donuts and just general playing. George took too his Jeep but I stayed on the wheeler because there is something to hold on too.... Kevin.... and it is harder to roll and the boys were trying to climb the snow banks. The jeep is a real bumpy ride and lacks seat belts that fit me right or anything to really hang on too... plus wheelers are just cool. That was a blast! We probably played outside for a couple of hours before George broke his Jeep :( Nothing bad but it put a end to our fun...
So all in all it has been a pretty entertaining Christmas Season... tomorrow I have a few errands to run and then back to work... sigh... but at least tomorrow is only 2 hours... thrusday and friday are much worse. And my internship is looking much closer from this side of christmas... it probably looks even closer after New Years :(
I forgot to update you on this but it will have to be brief because I have to work soon and I still need to find food...
Apparently the family of the gerbal pretending to be a rat enjoys having it run around their house because the week after the kid and I trapped it in a box I was going through their movies because he was sick and the stupid gerbal ran our from under the TV and over my hand!!!! Freaked me right the hell out. Anyways, since then it has been running around the house going as close to me as possiably because it can smell fear. The best moment was when the kids father came to pick him up one day (divorced parents) and the gerbal ran across the kitchen and his look was priceless... "Oh my god! What the hell was that???" I informed him that it was the kid's pet gerbal and that I thought it was a rat the first time I saw it. He then replied with "Why isn't it in a cage?" That is what I would like to know too....
So the semester has finally come to an end given me some free time to update this. You haven't really missed much, basically just me being really busy between school and work. I did all right this semester, I guess pretty well if you look at it from this point of view: I'm taking graduate classes and working nearly 40hours a week. One of my professors said that if you work more then 20hours you drop a letter grade in your classes and I would have to say I handled it pretty well. I was actually going to get all A's and A-'s but I failed my Occupational Performance Final with a 64... :( Now that really blows because I choose to take that on monday instead of thrusday so I would have the weekend to study and I did study ALL of Sunday which is alot for me. I mean I didn't study for the midterm and I managed with a 82 after they threw a few questions away and stuff. They did that with this test too and took two answers for a few of the questions but I didn't even pick the second best answer for those. I feel alittle better that the average grade for the class was a 68 but I don't fail... especially when I study my ass off. The problem is is that the test is based on our Reg Exam which we need to take after we graduate before we can practice... but the way the teachers teach is not so we can pass that test exactly. They teach us the problem solving skills so that we can practice as therapists and know where to look things up and how to handle different situations. And taking that and trying to take a test of hypthetical situations is really hard. I don't understand how they can make a test worth so much in our final grade if they aren't teaching us what is on the test. I understand that the practice is good (and man do I need it) but it shouldn't be wieghted so high in the class. It brought my grade from a A- down to a B and with a 6 credit hour class that hurt my GPA :( I'm still in the category for graduating with highest honors or Summa whatever it is but still it isn't fair. But now I'm scared that I won't be able to pass the reg exam... The teacher who writes are OP finals is a certified question writter for the Reg Exam so those are real questions and I can't seem to handle it. :'( George says I just need practice but I'm scared... what if I can't pass that test like Brian the kid I used to work with at staples. He had a masters degree in PT and failed his Reg exam 3 times and is now a full time employee at staples. :(
I'm not going to think about that right now though... well I am but I'm trying not to dwell. Other then that things are quiet... my friends have all gone home for break and I already miss them terriably...especially Jules, I could really use a Julianne weekend after yesterday and I need to wait until the end of January... I have a bunch of christmas festivities starting this weekend to look forward too, maybe that can snap me out of this mood I am in. And then I have my wonderful fieldwork which can go two ways... can scare me even more about becoming an OT because maybe I cannot only pass the test but I can't practice either...or can make me fall in love with the profession making me worry even more about failing my test. What excitement.... Should be a fun break :/
Show us your holiday decorations.
Here is one of my christmas decorations... it is a gingerbread house which me and Jules constructed Sunday evening. The first strange looking figure on the right is supposed to be a snowman but I think he looks more like a penguin on drugs... and If you notice the ground in front of the house is green... we ran our of icing so we used some frosting I had lying around and decided to sprinkle it green to represent the lack of snow. We are very talented. The box (yes it was a kit... we aren't that talented) contained an e-mail address and asked us to send in a picture and explain our house so naturally we did and this is what it said...
"This is our Gingerbread House, we are two 21 year old college students and this is how we relieve our stress during finals. The gingerbread kit did not come with enough icing, so being smart college students like we are, we improvised with frosting. Thus, you have the green sparkles, representing grass, because there isn't enough snow to cover the yard and house. (We recommend including more icing for future years). This was a really fun activity and thank you for allowing us to share our creation with you!
Now here you have Jules and Me proudly displaying the gingerbread house (we sent this picture in as well as the one above...jules is slightly overdressed for this activity) But in the background is my second christmas decoration my christmas tree... this isn't a really good picture but there you have it.
So this week has really turned around for me from my insanely stressed out days to being quite relaxed and cheerful. The turning point was Tuesday, Jules and Sam decided that I was too stressed and needed to get out so they treated me to dinner at Babes. I love them for that, it really relaxed me and we got to complain about all the stress in our lives and just joke around. George seemed alittle upset that I was going out to dinner without him, especially when I said that it was going to be good to get out and forget about everything for a night, he replied with "Well what about me?" and I said "Your part of the stress." Things are better between us now, it's just the lack of getting to see each other and overwork that was getting to us but after discussing everything at 4am one morning (I didn't need to work so I really wasn't thrilled on his timing) we have everything figured out. And we are even going to spend a day together next week, just the two of us. I can't remember the last time that happened. But anyways, dinner was much needed and I love those girls. Especially Jules but now I am extremely worried about May when she graduates. There is hope that she will stay out here with Vanderwood but it is looking more like she is going back to Jersey and I don't think I could bear that. She is the person that really got me through these last few weeks, I would have been lost without her and I don't know what I am going to do next year. I really look forward to our weekly visits and I mean George helps but sometimes you just need the girl to talk to because the boys don't understand, or you need to talk about the boys. :( I used to be good at distancing myself fom this sort of thing, I mean I did it in high school so it didn't hurt when we all grew apart, but instead of distancing myself I am getting closer. I've actually distanced myself from the wrong person haha but that is for the better as well.
Moving on... I only have one day of class next week and then Thanksgiving Break. I do have a disability awareness day to help run on Tuesday but that is with kindergarteners so it should be fun. I got my midterm grade back for that OP midterm I was afaird I failed... everyone got in the 70's after it was curved and I got a 81... the highest was a 86 and I didn't even study. So clearly I learned not to study from now on. Haha. But that makes me feel better because my registration exam I need to take is the exact same format and types of questions and I can do good on it without studying. Still freaked out about my fieldwork experiance though... :/ I really need to call my supervisor but by putting it off I can convince myself fieldwork is further away instead of alittle over a month.
That's all for now, or at least all I feel like typing... I do have homework to complete sometime today. I will post again soon
So I recieved a text message from the lady out in Cold Brook with the rats on wednesday asking me if I would be there Saturday for 10hours while she was at work. Text messaging is her's and her ex-husbands prime form of communication which is awesome because it is mine as well. Anyways, so my first thought back was "Did you catch the rat?" I mean who wants to willingly go back into a house that is infested with rats who obviosuly see nothing wrong with humans because it almost touched me!! However, upon thinking my response over I figured it sounded alittle rude so I rephrased it to read "Yes, by any chance did you catch the critter we saw last week?" That seemed alot nicer and still answered my question. So I recieved her reply back and it read "Nope, haven't seen it" Great, now I just agreed to spend 10hours with the rat on saturday and with 10hours with the autistic kid I am going to need to find some toys in his toy room because he isn't the type that can play the same thing for 5hours... I wish he was haha.
So I arrived at her house at exactly 7:30am on Saturday morning, No sense being early and spending more time with the rat. When I walked in the kid ran at me going "Lisa! It's not a rat!" So I excitedly looked at his mom for her to affirm this burst of hope for my long day in Cold Brook. She told me it was a funny story actually. Apparently between wednesday and saturday she had seen it and thought that "If I have rats that big I have a serious problem" So upon further investigation she decided to check the kids "hamster" cage, which apparently doesn't hold hamsters and all but gerbils which are much larger, and found it to be empty. The two gerbils, yes two not just one, had escaped and were running around the house. She told me that she tried to catch them but has been unsuccessful but they don't bite so we shouldn't worry. Now like I said before, I generally don't mind mice and things of that nature but it's when they come out of no where that they bother me, and now there is two mouse/rats running around the house that no one can catch but has seen... They are a cross between mice and rats... they look like mice, but are the size of a rat.
So she left and the morning was rather uneventful besides from hearing them in the cupboards at about 9. That was fine because I just decided we weren't getting anything out of them and I wouldn't have a problem. All her food is out in the open anyways. So about 1ish the first gerbal, the one that wanted to be my friend last week, ran across the kitchen floor. I quickly became scared because it came out of no where and I retreated to the computer chair so that my feet were not touching the floor. The kid confirmed that that was his gerbal and he proceeded to chase it around the kitchen and into the living room trying to catch it. So now this gerbal was underneath the couch in the living room... no place was safe, at any point in time it could climb up onto it, or worse yet, what if it got in my coat? This was becoming too much because I still had 4 hours left here and I couldn't remain on the chair that long, at some point the kid is going to want me to play with him.
So being good under pressure I come up with a plan. I tell the kid to keep an eye on the gerbal as I go upstairs and try and find something to catch it in, like a bucket or something, anything to contain it under the mother got there. Everything was going good at this point, I was going through the toy room looking for something and then I heard it... footsteps. The kid had decided to help me and left the gerbal unattended... now it could be anywhere! We settled on a box that they had been using to feed ther gerbils and a picture frame that would fit over top of it. Once downstairs I ran back to the computer chair and allowed the kid to keep searching for the gerbal.
After about 30mins he comes running out of the kitchen yelling "Lisa!! Look I caught him" And sure enough he was holding the gerbal by the tail running towards me going "See, do you want to hold him??" I immediatly yell NO! Jump from the chair and fun across the room proclaiming "put it in the box! Just put it in the box!" Now here is a funny thought, the "babysitter" being chased around by the kid she is supposed to be watching holding a gerbal... So after some discussion again about how girls don't like things like that unless safely in a cage he places it in the box and places the picture frame over it. We put a piggy bank on top of the frame in case it was particularly strong. Ah ha! Trapped!! But then the unforeseen happens... we left a crack so that it still have air flow, you can't kill a 6year olds pet gerbal... it started to chew on the picture frame and apparently it has sharp teeth because it was slowing wearing away the wood frame. Now this is a typical dollar store picture frame, it was one of those that came with a picture already and would be hard to replace.
So now I had three options... quickly find something to put between the picture frame so that it doesn't get ruined, ruin the picture frame for my own protection, or set the gerbal free and that was the last thing I was willing to do. So again being good under pressure I find a piece of cardboard to slip underneath the frame. Now that stopped him for about 30mins until he ralized he could chew through that to get to the frame! After some more thought I find a thin piece of plastic up in the kids playroom to slip underneath the frame in between that and the cardboard. That detained it! Until I hear the kids voice... "He needs excersize because he doesn't have a wheel... I'm going to let him run around the house again" NOOOO!!!! That was the last thing I wanted!! But again, I am good under pressure. I jumped in front of the box and the kid and explained how he is doing fine... The kids mom would be home soon and she would figure out what to do with him and until then the gerbil would be fine. But this kid likes to ask questions... "Well why can't he run around the house? I liked that?" Because you see, they will eat all of your food and then you will be hungry. After about 20mins of pleeding I got him to leave the gerbil alone.
And then at last his mom returned... naturally she found the days events rather funny. One gerbil down... one more running around. I'm hoping it's dead... I can't take another day like this.
Here is the picture of the Gerbils cage (To the left) ... see there is a box and then a piece of cardboard, the picture frame, the pig and things of ribbon (the kid added that, apparently he thought the pig wouldn't be enough... we needed ribbion!)
So I was at work today out in Cold Brook with the 6year old Autistic boy... and he asked me to go upstairs to his play room and look for the specific cars that went with the race track he wanted to play with. So seeing as how I just yelled at him for playing on the stairs I decided to go and search for these cars. Now his playroom is simply a room with toys thrown EVERYWHERE... hot wheel cars and board games and anything you can imagine is everywhere and there really isn't a whole lot of walking space. So I start digging though his toys looking for these cars (not that I really know what they look like) when I hear "squeak squeak" and upon looking down I see this really large mouse like creature inches from my hand. Now Im not normally afaird of mice unless they scare me out of the blue like this one did... and this one was Huge. So naturally I throw toys at it and bolt from the room (remembering to close the door of course). On my way down the stairs I start thinking... I didn't actually see this creature move so maybe it was a toy, I mean there are toys everywhere up there and perhaps I hit it with something that made it squeak. Yeah that was it, this creature was simply a toy and I overreacted because it was way to big to be a mouse and there isn't even any food up there. Thats what I kept telling myself at least. So once in the living room again I inform the kid that I hadn't found his cars but I decided to ask him if he had a mouse toy... his look told it all... there was no mouse toy and what was inches from my hand was real...
So once the kid realized that I had seen a "mouse" he naturally being a 6yr olf boy wanted to see it. So I convinced him to wait awhile and after about 20mins I caved because he was getting rather bored and really wanted those cars. So after explaining to him how girls are afarid of things of that nature and he would have to search for his toys I unwilling go up the stairs with him. We opened the door and the kid starts walking in and all of a sudden the creature darts across the room toward the door. Instinctively I grab the kid and pull him from the room and slam the door shut (the thing was way to large to fit under the door). The kid then replys.. "Hey that's my hamster!!" I really didn't believe him at the time because in my mind hamsters are cute and cuddly and this thing was not. So I told him that we will leave the door shut and let his mom deal with the hamster. And we headed down stairs.
Now at this point I was not convince that it was a hamster and I was beginning to get alittle freaked out. I mean hamsters in my mind are little and this thing was huge and had an extremely long and thick tail. So I hopped on the internet and goggled some pictures up and I did not like what I saw. First I goggled up a hamster and as I thought they were all little and did not have very long tails. So I asked the kid if these looked like his hamster and he said yes, confirming my suspicion that hamsters are little and don't have tails. So next I goggled a mouse and this did not even look like the creature up stairs. They are barely bigger then hamsters and while they have tails they aren't thick and the mice are def not fat like this thing was. So on a last thought I goggled a rat... and there it was. This creature that was inches from my hand and tryed to make a run out of the room... it was a rat. Upon seeing the picture the kid agreed that that was what was upstairs in his play room and his thought was "mommy needs to buy a very large mouse trap"
So naturally at this point I am freaking out... I'm in a house with not just mice in it (which I really don't mind until they eat my popcorn) but with rats. And I had two hours to go before the kids mom came home. So I let him play on the computer because we weren't going upstairs to get any more toys and I watched TV to try and take my mind off of things but I could hear things in the wall at this point (probably just nerves). When his mom got home he ran over to her and informed her that we saw a mouse, and she looked at me for reassurance and I respond with "actually I think it was a rat" and I have never seen anyones eyes get bigger before. So then he grabs her and wants to take her up there so she can see it and after protesting she follows him (like myself) unwillingly up the stairs. She didn't find it (but wasn't really looking) and informed the kid that it was sleeping and they shouldn't wake it up and she promptly slammed the door shut.
So that was my day... I almost touched a rat... or the largest hamster I have ever seen
So I realize that I haven't posted in forever... I mean I have been insanely busy between work and school lately but nothing really stands out to talk about. Work is going good but crazy... I am so proud of myself that I was able to turn down working today because I can't remember my last day off, normally I suck at saying no. School is alright, I'm ready for it to be over, or at least I'm ready for Thanksgiving Break. I'm still not ready for that fieldwork experiance in January... It scares me. :/ I really wish I had the nursing home for the two week internship and the hospital as the 3 month one. Thats the down side of deciding that BEFORE you start taking classes. *sigh* Other then school and work I haven't had a whole lot of free time to do anything, let alone post about so that is the reason for the delay. I am mainly caught up again in school so I may be able to keep you alittle more updated in my life... but who knows.
My last post mentioned that I finally won with Best Buy so I figured I would follow though on that. I did win with Best Buy and they even updated my ipod for me for free because they couldn't get a reconditioned version of the one I have because it is so old. I am now a proud owner of a video ipod... it's reconditioned still but it's free. And while I only have two videos on my ipod it is still a cool feature for when I get really bored.
Let's see, last night was my first night to really relax in I don't know how long. I ended up going over to my friend Joe's new place he just bought because George was over there helping him fix the place up. So I decided to be the nice wife that I am and brought over a frozen pizza to cook. After I got over there and put the pizza in the oven I realize that I have no potholders or pizza cutter... so the pizza was stuck in the oven and once cooked could not be sliced. And on top of that they had no toliet paper... a major problem. So seeing as his new place is 2mins from my parents house I hop into George's truck and drive up there real quick. Without explaining the situation to my parents I say "I need to pull a Jason, can I borrow a pizza cutter, a roll of toliet paper and a pot holder?" The look on my mom's face was priceless. I got back just in time to get the pizza out and eat it... Mmmmn. After that Jules came over to cheer me up since I have been so stressed lately and needed to vent to someone. Now let me just say that I love that girl! I really don't know how I handled any problems in my life before I met her and became really close. Venting to her helped me with things alittle and apparently her and Sam will be taking me out on Tuesday possiably since everyone needs a night out. I can't wait...
Today I was really productive around the house but no so much on the homework front like I had planned... but the house is spotless, including the bathroom. I am so proud of that... nothing had been cleaned in a month so it was long over due. Then I spent an hour on homework before heading out to the UC Hockey game against Johnson and Wales which is a culinary school... we should have blown them away. First of all, cooks are not normally the macho hockey players and secondly when the announcer announced their starters one of the players skated out to center ice where they line up and fell down... it was hilarous. UC won but by a goal with 1min left to go. It should have been a blow out... But anyways here I am now getting ready for bed. That's what has been going on in my life in a nutshell. Sorry for the delay in updates, I will try to do better this week.
